You may have heard that you can sow the SOY token, but Uniswap in conjunction with SOY Finance will be airdropping 500,000 SOY tokens.
According to a recent release by the platform, the platform, in a bid to distribute SOY tokens in a fair manner will airdrop the tokens to users through the Uniswap platform.
The distribution through Uniswap is the first phase of the SOY airdrop. To qualify for the airdrop which will commence on November 16 through November 30, 2021, the user would have to be active users who have performed one of the following transactions.
- Trading or swapping on Uniswap
- Adding or removing of liquidity on Uniswap
The list of qualified users will be updated daily by 00:00 UTC.
Claiming of airdropped tokens is at https://soy.finance/airdrop where the user can connect their wallet and is automatically rewarded if they qualify for the airdrop.
The release advised users to claim their tokens 24 hours after activity since the activity of users is updated daily at 00.00 UTC. The claiming of tokens by users is once in every phase of the Soy airdrop.
The airdropped tokens are locked for 180 days after they are claimed. They are unlocked for the user to use after the lock-up period.
The update on the Soy Finance website stated that:
By airdropping 10% of the initial supply in seven phases, 12 million tokens in total, Soy token’s monetary policy aims to distribute the SOY tokens in a fair manner and increase the platform’s decentralization to the highest extent.
The statement stated that 1/15 of the 500,000 tokens (33,333 SOY tokens) will be distributed daily. These will be distributed among eligible users.
