848,042 Bitcoin Addresses Now Hold At Least One BTC

The number of addressing holding at least, one bitcoin has reached an all-time-high of 848,000. This is according to data available at Blockchain.com on June 2, 2022.

Blockchain charts show that there are now 82.977 million unique Bitcoin addresses. This means that 8.9% of Bitcoin wallets now hold at least one bitcoin. The implication is that there has been more accumulation of the asset, even during the bear period by investors who see lower prices as opportunity to open new positions in the market.

There were 80.249 million unique addresses at the beginning of the year (January 1, 2022). The 82.977 million unique addresses by June 2 is a 3.4% increase in the number of unique addresses since the beginning of the year.

Daily Unique Addresses On The BTC Network

The data shows that the average number of transactions per day is 269,363. The number of unique addresses used daily on the Bitcoin network since June 2021 have ranged from 379,000 on June 27, 2021 to 797,000 on November 9, 2021.

The least number of unique addresses used on the Bitcoin network since the beginning of the year is 512,000 on January 1, 2022, while the highest number of daily unique addresses used on the network is 779,000 on May 5, 2022.

Least And Highest Daily Confirmations

In the past one year, the day that had the least number of confirmed transactions was June 27, 2021, when the network confirmed 125,000 transactions. Within the same period, November 9, 2021 holds the record of confirmation of the highest number of transactions. On that day, 335,000 transactions were confirmed on the Bitcoin network.

Since the beginning of 2022, the day with the least confirmed number of transactions is February 20, 2022. On that day 200,535 transactions were confirmed. May 5, 2022, has the record of having the most transactions of 315,759 confirmed on that day.

Bitcoin addresses

Mempool chart shows that the unconfirmed transactions on June 1 peaked at 20,103.

This dropped to 5,054 by mid-night leading to June 2. In the past 30 days, mempool transaction count peaked on May 13, at 72,306.

The total number of Bitcoin that has been mined at the moment is 19.056 million according to available data. This is based on June 1, 2022 mining chart for Bitcoin.
