Is it really difficult to identify the many scams that have invaded the cryptocurrency space? It seems to be so for some investors. That is why it is important that you do some background search on any site before buying an investment plan.
Accra Host is one of the new companies that are promising investors some profit from mining and I’m sure you’ve heard about this site and may want to invest in it.
If this is your situation, it is advisable that you take time to read through this information on Accra Host before making up your mind if this is a good investment option.
Accra Host in A Nutshell
The company according its website is British registered since 2012. The site also stated that it has been extracting several cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Monero, Zcash and Dogecoin.
It supports payment methods such as these cryptocurrencies and platforms such as Okpay, Visa, Payeer and others. There are various offers with which the investors can make money according to the site but when we crosschecked the information available on it, there are a lot of things that didn’t quite add up so we are explaining these right away.
Not A 7 Year Old Site
A Whois search shows that contrary to the claims on the website that Accra.host was registered on December 10, 2018. Whenever a company lies about its age, it usually claims that it has been in business longer that it actually has.
This is a hallmark of scam companies. This is to give investors the impression that they have built an online reputation in their line of business and so can be trusted with investors’ funds.
Accra.host from the time it was registered has barely been in business up to six months. Considering that the people behind this site have shown a level of dishonesty, they are not the type of company to even consider sending your funds to.
Who is Behind Accra.host?
Many reputable businesses that are based online do not hesitate to reveal the identity of the founders. For instance, big mining companies such as Bitmain have known founders.
Even though not every mining company would reveal the identity of the owners, reputable one cover up with the fact that they have built a reputation of having been in business for a long time, so people have learnt to trust them.
Accra Host has no reputation to protect since it is a new site and the people behind it obviously cannot be trusted.
Dubious Claim of Renting A Data Center
The entity behind Accra Host is aware that they’ll have a tough time proving that they own a mining farm, so they came up with the claim that they rented a data center belonging to another company as seen on the site:
“We signed a contract for the rental of a part of the famous Verne Global data center, which is located on the site of the former NATO military base in southwest Iceland, near the town of Keflavik.”
Is this not an admission that Accra host is not involved in a legitimate mining activity but just interested in creating impression that it is?
The site has photos and video of a mining farm that belongs to another company. Now if Accra Host lied about when the company was set up, why wouldn’t they lie about signing a contract?
Accra Host would go down as a bizarre site that has unrelated ads displayed on a cloudmining site. This proves the suspicion that there is nothing professional about this company since we are aware that no company that means business would place distracting ads on its site just for affiliate commission.
Accra Host also has its own affiliate program in its quest to create awareness for its business. What is certain is that many of the investors would lose their funds since there is no evidence that this is a mining company.
What Mining Plans is Accra Host Selling?
Accra Host makes cloudmining laughable claiming that it has a simplified approach which comprises just signing up, filling up your balance, buying power, choosing a coin and receiving daily income.
However, a critical examination of the plan shows that the site promises 3% daily profit on investment. This is 90% monthly profit which is rather ridiculous because no mining activity can generate that.
We came to the conclusion that this is another HYIP meant to entice the investor. This company certainly won’t benefit the investor on the long run since its plan is to steal people’s money.
It seems that the only positive reviews you would see about this mining site is on the site itself. Some of the reviews were written in 2017 when the site had not been registered according to available information.
What will you say about a business that the only people giving positive reviews about it are the employees?
Bitcoin mining has ceased to be a source of quick wealth unlike 6 years ago when miners accumulated enough because of low competition and mining difficulty.
You should be wary of any site making claims of quick profit through bitcoin mining. There are better investment options that you could use instead of risking your money with scams such as Accra Host. Check here for our recommendation.
