CEX.IO has announced that it is commencing support for the trading of the Cosmos ATOM. The token which has been enabled on the platform would have investors trade the ATOM/USD pair.

The release made known to the cryptocurrency community through several channels such as an email seen by Cryptoinfowatch announced that users can deposit ATOM on CEX as well as exchange it with the USD.

According to the release titled “The ATOM Market is Up”:

“You’re welcome to deposit ATOM, trade ATOM/USD, and purchase ATOM with your Visa/Mastercard. ATOM will also participate in our staking program soon, so you’ll get automatic payouts for every ATOM stored in your CEX.​IO account”

The statement further stated that by January 24 the exchange would enable support for ATOM/EUR pair while ATOM/GBP would be activated by January 28. Traders are advised to take advantage of the new listings.
