BitcoinCCY – A Scam That Pushes The Bait Limits

We have been reviewing scams on our platform for many months. Once in a while, we come across those audacious scams that throw caution to the wind because they want to entice the investor by any means possible. BitcoinCCY is one of such.

In this post, we shall examine this site with the hope that the reader would learn the mindset of the actors behind it so that you gain insight on how to identify and avoid unreliable sites such as this.

Even though it is obvious to an experienced user that this is an obvious scam, many new investors may not know this and they are the target of sites such as this.

What is BitcoinCCY?

Even though the name doesn’t make crypto sense and should even be a red flag to the experienced investor, the site claims that it is the world’s best cloudmining platform. This is not surprising, since cloudmining and trading are the favorite undertaken that scammer claim these days.

BitcoinCCYThe reason is that they are aware that there are many investors that know nothing about how cryptocurrencies are mined. These investors also think that it is an easy path to wealth. Since they are willing to make this wealth, the scammers willingly offer them pie in the sky to steal their funds.

At the end of the day, the only people making money through the cloudmining scams are the owners of the sites.

Established in 2019

Is it not amusing that a site that was set up on June 18, 2019 claimed to be a leader in mining of digital currencies. The fact that the owners of the site did not even pretend that they’ve been around longer shows the brazenness of this scam.

BitcoinCCYThe stats shown on the site claims it has been online just 3 days, yet it has earned thousands of dollars and paid out nearly $2000. These stats are obviously not true. The intention is to make the investor believe that this is a serious site in which people are earning some bitcoins.

Helping Bitcoin Holders Make Profit?

The site claims that it would help bitcoin holders to make more bitcoins through its mining activities and other online marketing endeavors. What is obvious with scam sites is that they mostly do not have original ideas, so they mostly plagiarize the ideas of other sites as seen with this site.

We conducted a plagiarism test for this statement:

“Our investment platform is a product of careful preparation and fruitful work of experts in the field of Bitcoin mining, highly profitable trade in cryptocurrencies and online marketing. Using modern methods of doing business and a personal approach to each client, we offer a unique investment model to people who want to use Bitcoin not only as a method of payment, but also as a reliable source of stable income. BITCOINCCY business uses only modern mining equipment and trades at the most stable markets, which minimizes the risk of financial loss to customers and guarantees them a stable income accrued every calendar day,”

and found out that it was copied from another site. BitcoinccyThis shows that this site is not what it claims, but an attempt to steal your cryptocurrency.

Who is Behind it?

Sites like this would never reveal the identity of those behind it because they’re aware that they would never meet up to the promises they made the investors. So it is safer for the people behind it to remain anonymous unlike some legitimate businesses which lets the investors know the team managing their funds.

Now, why would you send money to people you do not know just because they are behind the web and could set of a website? We have to understand that the fact you have a company that is registered does not mean that it has license to render financial services.

There are many people that register companies with the intention of using them as fronts for illegitimate or fraudulent businesses. What BitcoinCCY claims is that the physical address of the company is at 29 Bethnal Green Road, London, UK, E2 6AH. BitcoinccyA search of that location shows that another mining company, Solid Mining Limited.

What Are the Investment Plans?

One of the easiest ways of identifying scam cryptocurrency investment sites is that they usually would lure investors with very high profits. They’re aware that if the offer is very tempting, that they stand the chance of having people buy their investment plans.

BitcoinCCY offers the investor a minimum of 15% every hour for its basic plan which requires a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $100,000. There’s an intermediate plan that requires a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $10,000 which purportedly would pay 16% every hour. The premium plan promises 18% every hour.

BitcoinccyAs improbable as these plans are, we are aware that there are many who know nothing about mining of bitcoins who may actually believe that they would make money from this site.

I remember seeing one of these sites when I knew little about bitcoin and though that I could earn some money with them. I did invest $5 and got a small profit. I’m sure that if I made the mistake of depositing a bigger amount of say $1000, that would have been the last I heard from the scammers behind that site.

Always bear in mind that there are no easy ways to earn cryptocurrencies because it is money. Any site that offers you high reward just to make investment deposits wants to steal your funds.

Fake Stats

Scam sites, aside wanting to create buzz around them using affiliates, also use false data such as in their deposits and withdrawal tables. You wouldn’t expect to be paid if you make huge deposits on a site like this. BitcoinCCYBut they would post numbers to deceive visitors that they’re paying their investors.

Although this is a relatively new site, BitcoinCCY is an active scam. All information on the site has the objective to convince the visitor to make bitcoin deposits. Remember that you stand little or no chance of recovering your cryptocurrency if you send them to a scammer.

There are better investment sites that can help you grow your assets. The right sites are the regulated ones that comply with safety rules. All other types of random sites proposing high profits are scams. For the site that we recommend, check here.
