Cardano 2021 Summit Will Be A Hybrid of Virtual And Live Events

The 2021 Cardano summit is a two-day event that will be held live at the venue. However, this year’s event is going to be a hybrid of live and virtual event with the live event that will be held at University of Wyoming at Laramie Wyoming. According to the update released by the IOHK co-founder and CEO Charles Hoskinson, this event is open to all participants. Registration is free.

Hoskinson used the opportunity of the last update to inform the Cardano community of the recent developments in the network. Some of the highlights of the briefing includes a July 12 entrance into the Cardano “Alonzo White” era from the “Alonzo Blue” era.

The Alonzo White era is scheduled to run for 2-4 weeks, with the objective of on-boarding hundreds of users. The Cardano wallet back-end integration is expected to be completed by the end of this July. Furthermore, the network is going to witness the influx of several DeFi projects that have been funded by Project Catalyst.

Referring to Cardano as the “Number One Staked Network”, Hoskinson stated that 1,500 developers are being trained through the Pluto Pioneer Program. The project is presently tops in terms of commits on GitHub.

Thus highlighting that criticisms against the network are unnecessary. The platform maintained that its development plans are on track as exemplified by the sale of thousands of non-fungible tokens built on the network since the March 1 Mary hard fork.
