CEX now supports a number of popular coins on its platform. This was announced by the exchange in an email sent to its customers on March 11. According to the release, it became necessary to add the cryptocurrencies on the platform’s instant buy/sell due to the demand of clients using the CEX for their trades.
The exchange stated that the supported coins are BAT, ADA, ATOM, ONT and ONG. Others coins that would be available for purchase using the platform’s payment card supporting system are NEO, GAS and Tezos which would all be available for purchase for USD, EUR and GBP.
The company asserts that these coins would be received in the client’s wallet “in no time”. It added that all these digital currencies and other are also supported in the “Sell” option of the exchange. This means that users can fund their fiat accounts through the CEX “Instant Sell” option in a few clicks.

The exchange in a recent tweet alerted users of the platform that fraudsters may try to defraud them using fake giveaways. The tweet states:
“Scammers impersonate CEX.IO Twitter page by sharing fake giveaway posts with phishing links. Don’t follow the links – you can lose your funds! We’ve already reported those. Always check CEX.IO domain – twitter.com/cex_io“
