CryptoStage Ltd – Cast Your Funds in The Water

This site has already proven another scam review true. The strategy employed by most crypto investment fraud sites is to create the impression that there is a lot of money to be made from mining or trading of cryptocurrencies. We can see this with Cryptostage, another HYIP that claims it is helping their investor gain easy access to mining profits.

Even though it is not doubtful that there are many people that are making money through these media, it is equally important to know that majority of people involved in these activities do not make any income talk less making massive gains.

This is why at Cryptoinfowatch, we always warn users to be wary of any sites that promise outsized returns. In fact, the essence of our scam reviews is to push these in front of people through the indexing of the search engines.

What is CryptoStage Ltd?

This is a site that has made spurious claims that it offers its investors alternatives to direct purchases of mining equipment insinuating a cloudmining operation of sorts. According to the site:

“The low level of start-up investments is set, all adult investors are invited to cooperate, and each participant of the project is guaranteed transparency and stability of dividends.”

Even though we’re aware that no experienced investor would give this scam a second look, it is our hope that the less savvy ones and many others who are uninformed about cryptocurrencies would come across this and note the features with which scams are identified.

Fake Stats

You would notice the recent deposits and withdrawal table at the bottom of the site. This is a classical scam set-up. Fraudsters are eager to add visuals that would convince the gullible that their business works. But a close look at these transaction ids would show you that they are fakes. Even when fraudsters add transaction ids to their sites, it never coincides with one wallet showing that the payments were made by the same entity.

Just think about it. Why would a real company that is into a legitimate investment need to show you payments and deposits just because they want you to invest with them? Would your bank do that? The fact that any site shows you payments and deposits is indicative that you’re dealing with a potential scam.

No Owner Identity

It is astounding that there are people who believe that a site manned by some anonymous people would actually help them make money. The fact that scam sites such as Cryptostage are set up daily shows that there are people who actually believe they could make money from strangers across the world just because they are behind a site. When I first came across cryptocurrency, I had similar belief and would have lost money if I had it.

What we are trying to do is let you know that genuine sites that are meant for investment would have identifiable owners whose identity has been verified. As we can see from the Cryptostage Ltd site, the owner is not known. Even the supposed registration certificate does not contain the identity of the founder.

So why would you invest with people behind a mask?

A Dubious Affiliate Program

Fraudulent crypto investment sites such as Cryptostage Ltd create awareness among the uninformed through doubtful affiliate programs. You can see that this site claims it pays up to 50 percent on affiliate commissions. This is obviously meant to lure perpetual promoters of scams.

There are many people who would promote a scam like this even though they’re aware that the scheme is fraudulent. They do this just because their primary consideration is the money they could make. What such individuals do not understand is that helping a fraudster makes you one too. At the end, the only beneficiary from a fraud is the fraudster.

Before sending your funds to any site, make sure that you have conducted due research. Never invest with an unknown cryptocurrency investment site. It is the easiest way to lose your money.

Genuine investment sites are regulated by the appropriate governmental agency such as FCA and SEC. They do not hide the identities of their owners, and they warn investors of the risks associated with their investments.
