The creator of the TerraUSD and LUNA tokens, which crashed earlier this year, announced he is not on the run. He disclosed this on Saturday, 17th September 2022, in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle @stablekwon.
“I am not “on the run” or anything similar – for any government agency that has shown interest to communicate, we are in full cooperation, and we don’t have anything to hide”
Do Kwon refuted “on the run” claims
The founder of Terraform Lab, whose digital currency crashed this year, has refuted the claims that he is on the run, adding that he is cooperating with government agencies. He made these claims on Saturday following news that he is on the run.
According to Reuters, South Korea issued a warrant of arrest for him on the 14th of this month. Reports from them on the 17th, however, claim Singapore police stated that he is not in the country. The police added that they are ready to do everything within their law to aid his arrest.

Following these developments, Do Kwon added that he would only disclose his location to his friends, those he scheduled a meeting with, or those he plans to play web3 GPS-based games with.
Finally, he stated that they are bound to retain their high values and integrity. Hoping to sort things out in the coming months. Do Kwon said his whereabouts concern nobody. He, however, added that invasion of privacy in this manner pleases nobody.
People’s reactions to his claim
Although Do Kwon restricted replies on his tweet, another tweet on the same day by a popular Twitter news outlet, @WatcherGuru quoting his tweet as the source, has attracted reactions from Twitter traders.
Meanwhile, Jas Paida (@JasPaida) commended him for trying to save his project, but this met responses that he knew the crash was bound to happen because he cashed out billions of dollars before the tokens crashed.
Another Twitter user stated that the $LUNA founder would always be free unless the US issued an arrest warrant. Some others still believe the tokens will rise again.
