
Tim Draper recently announced that he has joined the advisory board of MakeSense Lab which is a decentralized application based on the EOS platform. Draper who could be worth more than $400 million is one of the prominent investors in the cryptocurrency space.
In a release seen on September 9 by the Cryptoinfowatch News team, Draper wrote that he is excited to join the messaging app company which, according to him would make human to human interaction easier and private as well as creating a channel of payment for users.
A Pivotal Figure
The parent company Sensay.Sense.Chat followed through with Draper’s statement highlighting his accomplishments and their excitement to have him come on board. The CTO of the company, Ben Sigman said:
“We are very excited to have Tim’s support and advice. He’s been a massively important and pivotal figure in technology, and recently in the blockchain. He’s everything we want to emulate in our leadership — he’s creative, supportive and passionate.”
A number of companies have already released messaging apps that are based on the decentralized platform. Some of them are Status.IM which launched its alpha product on the Ethereum platform. The company’s chat and video platform is gradually coming on mainstream.
The cryptocurrency community is expecting the launch of the Telegram Open network expected before the end of the year. The TON has already released its blockchain explorer and other accoutrements pending the main launch of the project which has raised the most funds through its private sale.
