Ether is also among the big losers on the weekly chart as the cryptocurrency shed 15% of its value in just 7 days. This is as the coin market continues to struggle in a season that some analysts say could get worse.
Even at that, ETH is not the worst hit digital currency in a week that Bitcoin has dropped to just above $21k from $24k a week earlier.

Among the top 50 coins, Filecoin (FIL) is the biggest loser on the weekly chart. The cryptocurrency has lost 24% of its value in 7 days. Another big loser is Axie Infinity, the NFT metaverse gaming platform whose cryptocurrency dropped 23% of its value in the past 7 days. AXS is currently trading at $14 while FIL has a market price of $6.26.
Other coins that have lost at least 20% of their value in the past 7 days are Ankr – 27%, Gala – 22%, Holo – 20%, Celsius – 39%, STEPN – 30%, Loopring – 20%, Stacks – 21% and Waves – 20%.
