Data available from Coinmarketcap shows that ETH traded at a two-week high on Sunday, July 5. The $2,384.29 high that the coin attained was the highest seen since mid June. The excitement associated with the upcoming hard fork is no doubt responsible for the positive market sentiment.
Even though the coin price dropped by 5.2% on Monday, there still are indications that things are looking bright in view of the London hard fork that has been scheduled at the end of the month.
The coin is trading at $2231.36 having made some slight recovery late Monday.
