You probably have heard of Listlion and considered making some investments. Many sites are vying for crypto investment these days and there is no way to know those that are worthwhile and the ones that is a waste of time based on information available on these sites. This is the essence of this review.
Many investors do not make in-depth research on opportunities presented by sites. This is the reason why many complain that they have been defrauded. Obviously, the fact that you are reading this review puts you in the class of the painstaking investors.
This is very important because being careful with your assets is the most important step that you have to take to prevent losses. The UK financial regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority recently reported that $34 million was lost to crypto forex scams last year.
2017 was even gloomier as it was the year in which the price of Bitcoin soared, attracting more attention to the industry resulting in $1.34 billion in lost funds. These are reasons why every investor should make careful research before sending their funds to any website that promises to help them make money.
What is Listlion?
This is an investment site that claims it was registered in the UK with the purpose of helping all types of investors to make profit in the coin market.
The site states that it offers the users new opportunities to start earning passive income from home. It further claimed that the managers are experienced professionals that understand the coin market. They are also willing to help all their investors to make profit.
From the inference of the site, the company is making enough funds that all its investors would be in profit in a short time. Other features of the service are a minimum investment of $50, a reinvesting option and quick withdrawals.
Is This A Reliable Site?
A close examination of this site shows that there are a lot to be desired, especially because it is not forthcoming in the information it provided about the owners of the site.
According to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), knowing the identity of the owners of an investment company is among the priority before an investor sends their funds to such business.
“Spend some time checking out the person touting the investment before you invest – even if you already know the person socially. Always find out whether the securities salespeople who contact you are licensed to sell securities in your state and whether they or their firms have had run-ins with regulators or other investors.”
An Anonymous Company
The Listlion site claimed that the company was registered in the UK, but did not provide evidence that this is so. Clicking on it “Our Company Certificate” link, the user is taken to a page where it was written:
“We are an anonymous company, Company details and registration information cannot be found in the official register -. Companies House directly To search you can ask how we can find a large company background.”
This is a clear indication that this is not a site that you should trust with your funds. How could a company seeking investors be anonymous? In essence, they are saying that investors should send funds to people that they do not know.
Even the team photo was stolen from the internet from a stock photo site.
Now listen, that a site has presented claims of its services does not imply that those are true. Fraudsters routinely use false information on websites to deceive investors and others and steal their funds.
A company that conceals its identity and that of the team behind it does not in any way qualify to manage your funds irrespective of what they claim they’re capable of accomplishing for you in terms of profit.
Online Since 2015?
A Whois search shows that the domain was registered on February 8, 2015 but updated on January 31, 2019. This could mean that the site has been online for years or that the intention of registering the domain was to launch a site with aged domain.
Whatever the case, we are convinced that this is not a site that you should depend on for your investment needs.
We searched with the UK Company House using the address provided by Listlion Ltd as its corporate headquarters. What we discovered is that there are 2 companies located at the address, DEPT 400, 61 PRAED STREET, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, W2 1NS, but none was listed as Listlion Ltd.
Obviously, the reason why the site claims that it is an anonymous company is that it is not registered by the filing office.
It is needless to say this, an entity making false claims to deceive investors and take their money if fraudulent. Sending funds to this site will result in losses.
The site also claims that its telephone contact is available only for VIP investors. This is a tactics fraudsters are known to use. Which business would reserve a contact channel to only a segment of customers? In fact, there is no channel of contact if you have an emergency while using the site.
What Are the Investment Plans?
An overview of the investment plans shows that this is a HYIP. The company’s starter plan starts with a reward of 800 percent in just 24 hours. This is extremely improbable, but the fraud is even more daring.
Higher investment plans are 8000 percent and 80,000 percent for 2 days and 3 days investment tenures respectively. These are far beyond the market rate for any known investment vehicle.
Scammers usually appeal to people’s trust and desire for wealth to steal from them. The reason why they use huge profits on their sites is that it is the easiest way to attract investors’ attention.
Never invest with a random and unknown site. It is a quick way to lose your funds. The best sites for investment are regulated ones that help you grow your assets. You may check here for the site that we recommend.
