Getting a good investment site isn’t easy due to the fact that there are many scams out there ready to steal from investors. Multi Earn claims that it is one of the few that could help you make profit in bitcoins so in this post, we shall look at these claims to verify if this a site that you should pay attention to.
There are many sites that have come online since Bitcoin became popular. The aim of the owners mainly has been to defraud the users of these sites and they sometimes succeed because there are many investors that do not research on the investments they’re investing in.
Scams thrive when people are not informed about what they’re getting into. The fact that a piece of data was presented on a site does not necessarily mean that they are reliable, authentic and true. This is the essence of investigative reviews.
What is Multi Earn?
This is a site that claims that it is backed by a company that is registered and operates from the UK. It also claims that it has operations in the United States where it is involved in mining of cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin.
The company claims that it has been in operation since 2017, being run by professional traders and miners. Although it laid emphasis on these two activities, Multi Earn also stated that it is involved in trading of forex.
However, none of these claims was substantiated with evidences, so we did a background check to ascertain if these claims are true.
According to the site:
“Multi-Earn offers a unique opportunity for everyone who wants to make money on investing in the progressive currency Bitcoin. Our main activity is the mining of the cryptocurrency, through the use of special computers – miners and algorithms used to solve complex equations.”
In a bid to find out how true these claims are, we realized that this site like many others like it should be avoided for the following reasons:
There is no investment site that doesn’t bear risks. It is common practice among fraudsters to create the impression that the deal is guaranteed to succeed. In its guide, the Securities and Exchange Commission stated:
“Guaranteed returns” aren’t. Every investment carries some degree of risk, and the level of risk typically correlates with the return you can expect to receive. Low risk generally means low yields, and high yields typically involve high risk. If your money is perfectly safe, you’ll most likely get a low return. High returns represent potential rewards for folks who are willing and financially able to take big risks. Most fraudsters spend a lot of time trying to convince investors that extremely high returns are “guaranteed” or “can’t miss.” Don’t believe it.”
In this instance, in its FAQ page, Multi Earn claimed on its site that the investor would not lose their money thereby giving a false sense of security and assurance to the investor that there are no risks involved in this investment.
However, evidence to the contrary abound that this is a dubious site that would cause losses to anyone that makes a deposit with it.
The earlier quote copied from the site and most of the content on the Multi Earn site were plagiarized from other sources from the internet. Scammers usually are lazy and would go for the easy way of copying content others have written.
In fact, one of the ways of ascertaining if the investment site you’re dealing with is a fraudulent one is to run a plagiarism test on it. You can see that a simple search on Google shows that the earlier quote culled from the site originates from other sources.
An Incomplete Site
What impression do you have about sites that have dead links or pages that do not present what the links indicate? The Multi Earn site has a page which invites users to rate the site. However, clicking this link shows that there is no provision for rating.
It is right to assume that this is a cloned site but this section has been overlooked. The faudsters behind this site are in a hurry to launch it that it didn’t occur to them to delete this page.
Although this doesn’t prove that Multi Earn is a scam, it is a pointer that you are not dealing with a professional team as they claimed.
A real company manned by professionals would go through their site to make sure that it presents the right impression to users.
False Resumption Date
On the site’s homepage, it stated that:
“We work around the clock, concluding the most successful transactions, trading on the exchange in order to get maximum benefits.
Headquartered in London in 2017, multi-earn.com is already becoming the USA fastest growing bitcoin trading company”
This is obviously a false claim as seen from the Whois search which shows that the site’s domain was registered on July 19, 2019. Sites lying about how long they have been online are nothing new. It is proof nonetheless that you’re dealing with dishonest people by patronizing such sites.
Fraudsters usually want to take advantage of the fact that many internet users tend to trust sites that seem to have been online for longer periods.
High Yield Investment Scam
It is impossible for anyone to double or triple your money for you irrespective of what they do to make the money. This is especially so if they claim they would do this in a short time such as hours or days. Every high yield investment program is a scam.
The strategy is to lure investors with promises of instant gains and steal the funds deposited by such investors. The scammers do this because they depend on the difficulties inherent in tracking and arresting them mainly because cryptocurrency is an unregulated sphere.
There are few reliable investment sites in this industry. Before investing your funds, be sure to avoid random sites that make claims of high profit and those that are unknown and unregulated.
A reliable investment site must have the appropriate agency oversee its activities. You can check our top recommendation here.
