There are many sites promising investors that they could earn by investing with their platform. Unfortunately, there are very few that live up to the expectations of the investors. This gives the impression that the underlying reason for setting up these sites is pecuniary. This is why many of these are manned by cyber criminals.
Mypassivetrade.com is one of the platforms that promise users that they could earn on their investment on the site. According to the website’s description on what the company does, the owners wrote:
“We provide all our members with a fantastic way to gain more traffic and ultimately more business, while at the same time providing a passive income stream from our very sustainable and proven trading activities, which are mirrored through our free trading signals service – providing complete transparency and a track record for you to follow. You can also earn great big commissions through our unique affiliate system inside our trading school”
A Confusing Business
From the foregoing, it is obvious that this is one confusing business that does’t have a focus on what it’s doing to make money. There are just too many things muddled up in the site such as a traffic exchange, trading activities, a trading signal services, a trading school and an affiliate program.
Furthermore, there are other serviced that could be noticed on the website such as an email marketing service, PPC advertisement, Text ad, Rotating ad and others.
What has been obvious is that this is a mix of many businesses that may be unrelated. This means that the investor in this platform may not even know what they are investing on by visiting the site. Moreover, the platform has not been able to describe exactly what it is doing to make profit for the investor.
Who is Behind Mypassivetrades.com?
The site did not specify the people or owners behind it. The only way to contact the operators is through email so if there is an emergency, the investor may be stuck until the operator sends an email.
A Whois search shows that the domain was registered on September 27, 2018. The owners were not specified since they have used a privacy service to conceal their identities.
The Facebook group of the platform claims that the trader for the site is someone known as Nabil Armani. A search for this person turned up nothing pointing to the suspicion that this may not be the name of a real person but an alias used as a front to get investors.
With a promise of 1.25% daily, Mypassivetrades hopes to generate traffic with many investors buying its ad packs. It is curious that a company that announced that it is into trading is selling ad packs to investors.
What exactly is the ad packs advertising?
Investing for Everyone?
The platform claims that anyone can invest with $5 as the minimum. It also advised that people that are making deposits of up to $10,000 should send an email to the site admin before investing warning of certain risks.
There is no evidence of trading done by anyone yet investors are promised 1.25% daily. In any case, investment platforms that offer such yields without providing evidence that they are doing any legitimate business are likely scams and should be avoided.
There is a page displaying payouts from the site even though there are no transaction IDs that could be used for verification. Furthermore, there is no deposit and withdrawal button on the site lending credence to the assumption that no trade is done by the platform.
Its directory page shows that what the site is more interested in is advertising affiliate programs for people who bought the ad packs. My Passive Trades claims to be registered in the UK but there is no way to verify this.
A certificate displayed on the “Company” page is barely legible and is no evidence that this is a legitimate company.
There are better investment platforms that you should consider if you’re in need of passive income. Mypassivetrades.com is barely a serious-looking site.
The best description to give it is that the owners are not sure how to convince any investors to make deposits so they are depending on affiliate partners to promote the site.
