
The cryptocurrency exchange, Remitano has announced that it will delist some crypto assets. The exchange made the announcement via an email they sent to users of the platform on Friday, September 16, 2022.
To Protect Users of Remitano
According to information available to Cryptoinfowatch, the delisting of the assets is to protect the users of the platform. The email announcing the planned delisting says,
“To protect and give our users the best possible investment choices, we have decided to delist and stop all trading of these assets”
The assets marked for delisting by the platform are the two variants of the Terra blockchain tokens, LUNA and LUNC. Others are NEO, XMR and CELO.
LUNC for Delisting On September 20
The company said that the first cryptocurrency that will be delisted is LUNC. It states that the delisting of the token has been scheduled from 00:00 September 20, 2022 (UTC. They said that at the time of the delisting, LUNC tokens in the wallet of users will be converted to USDT.
“We will perform a full conversion of LUNC on users’ wallets on Remitano to USDT at the market price at the time of execution,” said the update.

CELO, NEO, LUNA And XMR for Oct. 1
The rest of the assets that have been marked for delisting will cease to be traded on the exchange from October 1. These are LUNA, NEO, CELO and XMR. They added that up to the time of delisting, these assets will still be available for buying and selling at Remitano. The balance left in the individual wallets of the holders will also be converted to USDT at the time of delisting.
“LUNA, NEO, XMR, CELO, delisted from 0:00 October 1, 2022 (UTC). Users can buy/sell up to the time of delisting. The amount remaining in the user’s wallet will be converted to USDT at the market price at the time of execution. ”
The exchange advised their customers that are interested in continuing holding the coins to buy them back at other exchanges that support these tokens.
