
Richmond Hill, is in partnership with Coinberry to implement transactions using cryptourrency. Coinberry is a cryptocurrency company based in Canada.
The city had on Wednesday last week formed an alliance with Coinberry after the City’s Board ruled in support of the partnership. The major aim behind this agreement was to provide an alternative transaction for inhabitants and companies in Richmond Hill.
After its success with Innisfil City, this official statement will be another communal relationship of Coinberry in the space of six months. It shows that, apart from the internet, bitcoin and altcoins could be exchanged in everyday transaction.
Richmond Hill City is one of the largest in Canada with close to 200,000 inhabitants living in the area. It is located in York Region of Southern Ontario, Canada.
Richmond Hill deputy mayor Joe Di Paola said:
“We believe that the demand for a digital currency payment option is only going to grow in the coming years, especially amongst millennial,
Our Council was aware of Coinberry’s successful implementation of a digital currency payment service with the Town of Innisfil, and since there was no cost and no risk to the City of Richmond Hill to do the same, it made the decision that much easier for us.”
Coinberry is a trading site located in Canada. It provides users with efficient ways to make transactions in bitcoins and other.
This agreement will give Richmond Hill the chance to utilize the services of Coinberry for other virtual currency transactions.
CEO of Coinberry, Andrei Poliakov noted that:

The collaboration is creating even more awareness for the exchange which is a channel for greater adoption.
