I assume you came across Satoshi Miners in your quest to know more about some mining hardware. You may even be considering putting through an order to have some shipped to you. That you decided to check up the company is definitely a good idea, very good.
There are many people who simply do not cross-check the site they’re investing with. This is the reason for so many complaints in which people have lost tons of money to scammers.
This is why irrespective of how authentic a site seems, it is still important to run a background check on it to know its antecedence and what others are saying about it.
In this Satoshi Miners review, we shall take an in-depth analysis of this site to know if it is safe to deal with it, especially if you’re considering investing with this company.
What is Satoshi Miners?
This is one of those companies that claim to do many things even though there is little or no evidence provided as proof that they’re actually doing anything.
On the home page of the site, there are various images of miners from different manufacturers displayed with prices, giving the impression of an ecommerce site.
However, on the About Us section of the site, the company claimed that it is more of a cryptocurrency educational business involved in market analysis. According to the site, they are
“A team of cryptocurrency enthusiasts, blockchain technology supporters and investors, we aim to provide a steady stream of reliable information that will help you navigate the exciting world of cryptocurrency. If you’re simply curious about the tech or need an in-depth analysis of the current market trends, our contributors are happy to help.”
In effect, no mention of the ecommerce aspect of the company was made. It further stated that they are investment experts that guide new entrants in the crypto industry on how to navigate the volatile market.
At Cryptoinfowatch, we have learnt that scam companies rarely get everything perfectly. The disconnection between the apparent display of hardware and the vision on the home page made it clear that Satoshi Miners is not really what it claims to be. A professional company should have a clear vision and line of business.
When a website owner has no ideas, they tend to copy what others have already done. The disconnection seen on the site and obvious rambling gave us the impression that the content is not original. This was confirmed by a plagiarism check of the statement quoted above.
The statement was plagiarized from another site. This left us in no doubt that Satoshi Miners is not a reliable site to buy your hardware from or consult for any investment advice.
Another section of the site stated that
“Making first steps in this budding industry can be intimidating, but having expert advice from people with years of experience in the cryptocurrency field will make a huge difference. Follow us for the latest cryptocurrency news, investment advice and market analysis.”
Plagiarism check shows that this section of the site was also plagiarized from another site.
As you must have known, this is an act for which scammers and other cyber criminals are known for – setting up sites hoping that some uninformed investors comes along to make deposits.
Who is Behind Satoshi Miners?
A Whois search shows that the domain was registered less than two months ago. This is a confirmation that they are the ones stealing content from older sites. The domain was registered by CNOBIN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LIMITED on April 2, 2019.
Cryptocurrency Mining Equipment Shop?
Satoshi Miners claims it sells hardware manufactured by most of the big players in the market such as Bitmain, Innosilicon, Obelisk, Ebang and others.
To prove they’re serious, they even ask big investors to book appointment to visit their office at Sandwijk 2, 1035 LB Amsterdam, Netherlands. We believe that this could be a ploy to make people think that this is a real business.
The evidence is overwhelming that making payments to this company would result in loss of your funds. There is no evidence that there is a legal entity behind this site.
Office A Residential Neighborhood
A Google Earth scan of the address provided by Satoshi Miners seems located in a residential area contrary to expectation. Shouldn’t a business warehousing mining hardware be in the industrial or business section of the town?
A Fake Team Stealing People’s IDs
Scam sites have a general rule- They never list the true identity of the owners but Satoshi Miners posted profiles of the company’s supposed executives. This elicited suspicion that the team must be fake so we conducted a reverse search for the members.
Not surprisingly, all the images posted as the managers of the company were photos pulled from the internet. This confirms the suspicion that dealing with Satoshi Miners is very risky.
The scammers behind the site have stolen other people’s IDs, content and even used a fake address to create the impression that it is a genuine company selling cryptocurrency mining equipments and rendering financial services. Just beware of this site.
We always advise investors to use only reliable sites. Reliable investment sites are regulated and help people make profit. For our top recommendation, please check here.
Satoshi Miners is an example of many scam sites in the cryptosphere. Never invest on a site without conducting some research on it. If in doubt, please contact us.
