Crypto platforms such as exchanges use giveaways to promote their businesses the same way new crypto projects use bounties and airdrops. Shapeshift announced its 10 ETH giveaway on February 25, if you’ve not yet signed up, it’s a good idea to do so now since registration ends in about 24 hours.
According to the reminder release by the Denver-based cryptocurrency exchange, the selection for the 10 winners of giveaway would be announced on March 3, 2020. Each of the lucky winners would receive 1 ETH in their Shapeshift connected wallets.

The benefit of using Shapeshift for cryptocurrency trading is its zero fee regimens. The platform currently awards 100 FOX tokens for every customer though the account has to be verified and linked to a ledger, KeepKey, Trezor or Portis wallets to qualify for the giveaway.
The 10 winners will be randomly selected using a random number selector. The giveaway basically entails having a verified account with Shapeshift and having it linked to the required wallet.
According to the platform which was founded by Erik Voorhees in August 2014, ShapeShift is a zero commission, zero spread and zero trading fees in its new platform. KeepKey and Bitfract are subsidiaries of the company which has its headquarters in Switzerland.
