Trust wallet supports Fantom

Trust Wallet has added Fantom (FTM) to the cryptocurrencies that it supports. The revelation was made by the Fantom team through a blog post on its website. It also confirmed the Fantom support by Trust Wallet through a post on Twitter. The May 25 blog post says that the team is thrilled that the multi-wallet has deemed it necessary to support the cryptocurrency.

It added that Trust Wallet supports more than 65 blockchains and multiple crypto assets. According to the Fantom Foundation,

“We are thrilled to announce @TrustWallet now supports Fantom! This easy to use mobile wallet allows users + developers to discover their favorite #Web3 ecosystems  Fantom & native project tokens are now available to Trust Wallet’s 50M+ global users!”

Interesting Features of Trust Wallet

The post says that 3 million cryptocurrencies and NFTs are supported by Trust Wallet. Some interesting features that users of the wallet enjoy include:

Purchasing of crypto assets using credit/debit cards, the ability to swap native tokens and a browser-based access to decentralized applications (dApps).

Other features that has attracted users to the wallet is its flexibility and adaptability to new projects. Users do not need to go through KYC to use the wallet. Furthermore, the private keys are stored in-device, giving the user full control of their keys.

A number of Fantom project tokens are already supported by Trust Wallet prior to the support, the foundation writes. It encourages developers building on Fantom to apply for listings on the wallet.

“This allows millions of crypto users to discover and onboard with exciting projects and innovations in the Fantom ecosystem.”
