The Twitter post says that Buterin would be donating the proceeds of the sale of the book to the Gitcoin grants. He further thanked the publishers “for the job of publishing and organizing”
The Gitcoin website he linked emphasized that Buterin is donating proceeds to common good. It highlighted that even though the book will be available on the shelf by fall of 2022, buyers can pre-order signed copies via the website. It states that:
“For pledges made here, funds will go 90% to the Gitcoin Grants matching pool and 10% to our publishing partner, Seven Stories Press, for supporting public goods in independent publishing.”
An Imaginative Writer
About the book, the platform wrote that they’re a collection of Buterin’s writings even before Ethereum was built. He was described as an “imaginative writer”
