zkSync Highlights Growth Prior To v.2.0 Mainnet Launch

The Ethereum values scaling and security protocol, zkSync, has scheduled its upgrade to its version 2.0 in the next 60 days. In a recent update, the L2 network highlights the progress that its developer team and community have made ahead of the zkSync 2.0 mainnet launch.

According to the update, five projects have joined the zkSync ecosystem recently. These are:

Perpdex, a next generation decentralized exchange with improved security and function. The futures platform is designed to help investors minimize oracle risks. This on-chain order books platform matches more than 10,000 transactions on its EVM compatible perpetual futures DEX.

According to the network, all orders can be matched in one transaction.

“Market orders are processed with optimal routing of AMM and limit orders like the DEX aggregator”

Sprintcheckout is a payment gateway that was launched on zkSync testnet. It enables merchant integration via API (private beta). It enables payment with cryptocurrencies without first converting the crypto to fiat.

Wallets such as ArgentHQ, GetNumio and GetBlockWallet which have already helped onboard thousands of users on zkSync are supported by Sprintcheckout.

According to the payment platform,

“Sprintcheckout does not charge any fees to the customer, just like any other payment gateway. But since layer 2 fees are so cheap, it will be more cost effective than @PayPal and @stripe”

Foxwallet integrates with zkSync due to the project’s belief that rollups hold the key to greater adoption because of the many benefits that L2 projects bestow on users. According to Foxwallet Official, despite the technical challenges involved in integrating with zkSync,

“The intrinsic characteristics of ZK-rollups determine that they have higher security and more efficient finality; that is, ZK-rollups require fewer security assumptions and significantly less time before a transaction finality.”

Argent believes that zkSync 2.0 will be a game changer for the adoption of cryptocurrencies. It states that this is one of the reasons why over 250 dApps are built on the blockchain.

“zkSync is already scaling Ethereum with cheap and instant transactions”

This NFT raffle marketplace brought their bridge to the L2 blockchain, zkSync 2.0. This enables a seamless bridging for the ecosystem. Naffles claims to be among the front runners in the Ethereum and ZK revolution.
